Breaking News - Costigan out of Origin

MEDIA RELEASE - Queensland Rugby League

Canberra Raiders backrower Neville Costigan has been ruled out of tonight's State of Origin match in Brisbane.

Medical tests this morning showed that Cstigan had broken his hand in a training mishap yesterdat afternoon, with Brisbane Broncos forward Dane Carlaw replacing him in the Maroons squad.

New Zealand Warriors lock forward Michale Luck has been called into the sqaud as an 18th man, and he will wear jersey number 20 if required.
