Limited NRL News Coverage

July 2nd 2008 00:00
Hey Alll NRL Fans,

Just a quick note to say that this blog will have limited coverage over the next fortnight (that's more limited then what it currently already has), due to my media committments for the 2008 Universities Rugby League World Cup.

The 2008 Universities Students World Cup will be held in Brisbane from July 4-19, with eight of the world’s best rugby league nations battling it out for world supremacy in Australian rugby leagues Centenary season.

I will be providing NRL scores and table updates when I can, but unfortunately will have no time for match reports over the coming weeks.

If anyone would like to check on the progres of the Universities Word Cup then please follow this link -

Cheers,

Queensland centre Justin Hodges faces up to eight weeks on the sideline after he was today handed a grade three dangerous throw charge resulting from last Friday night's Broncos v Eels clash.

The talented Broncos three-quarter will miss the next six seeks if he pleads guilty to the first half 'tipping' tacle on Parramatta hooker Mark Riddell, but will face an eight week suspension if he unsuccessfully contests the charge at the NRL judiciary on Wednesdy night
