PJ Marsh leaves Parra; joins Broncos
November 4th 2007 21:00
Utility man PJ Marsh has been released from the final year of his playing contract (2008) with the Parramatta Eels with immediate effect, the club said in an official statement.
Marsh's manager request for release earlier this week was granted by head coach Michael Hagan which has paved a way for the classy utility to join the Brisbane Broncos on a three-year deal.
The surprise signing of the former Queensland State of Origin representative makes him a ready-made replacement for Shaun Berrigan who has left the club for England.
Marsh began his NRL career at the Eels in 2000 but left to join the New Zealand Warriors on a three year stint in 2002. He returned to the club in 2005 and has played a total of 108 first grade games for Parramatta.
