Donnelly makes Titans debut

Former Melbourne Storm forward Ian Donnelly will make his debut for the Gold Coast Titans against the rampant Wests Tigers this Sunday at Campbelltown Stadium.


Donnelly will start off the bench, replacing injured Titans forwards Kris Kahler and Brad Meyers, both of who sustained serious injuries against the Canberra Raiders a fortnight ago.

Injured fullback Preston Campbell has been given another weeks rest to recover from a lengthy knee injury.

Titans name new boy Lewis

Gold Coast Titans coach John Cartwright has named ex-Rooster Josh Lewis in his squad to face the South Sydney Rabbitohs this Saturday night at Carrara Stadium.


Lewis has been named on the bench for his first game with the new club, with the Titans having a host of player battling to be fit for the home clash.

Lock Luke Swain is battling a hip injury and is racing against the clock to be fit, whilst Brad Meyers (leg) and Smith Samau (hamstring) are also both in doubt.

Titans make one change

The Jetstar Gold Coast Titans have made only one change to their line up for this Friday's crucial encounter with the St George-Illawarra Dragons at WIN Stadium.

With prop Luke Bailey earning a NSW State of Origin call up, utility forward Kris Kahler will take over the number 8 jersey vacated by Bailey, whilst James Stosic returns on the bench.
