Canberra Raiders coach Neil Henry has named a youthful team for this Saturday nights battle with Newcastle at Energy Australia Stadium.
Raiders Coach Neil Henry has named the strongest possible squad for the
match, with only Tom Learoyd-Lahrs (knee), David Milne (Abdominal),
Brett Kelly (knee) and Ben Jones (ankle) unavailable.
It will be the first NRL game for Raiders new recruit Joel Monaghan
since his return to the club, after a three year stint with the Sydney
Roosters.
While possessing plenty of pace in the backs, Henry has gone with plenty of muscle up front as well, naming three big men on an extended bench, with Michael Weyman, Dane Tilse and Josh Miller, while Marshall Chalk has been named in the top 17 thanks to his utility value.
