NRL News Poll - What's a bite worth?
August 8th 2007 03:08
Canterbury Bulldogs forward Brad Morrin will tonight front the NRL judiciary to recieve his suspension for admitting to biting Parramatta Eels star Timana Tahu during last Friday night's match at Telstra Stadium.
Speculation throughout the Sydney media is that Morrin could face a suspension from anywhere between 4 and 10 matches for the 30th minute incident, which the Bulldogs forward has already admitted and apologised for.
The last NRL player to receive a suspension for biting was former Cronulla foward Chris Beattie, who in 2001 was sidelined for 2 matches for nipping Eels lock Daniel Wagon.
If you missed the incident, here is a You Tube replay of the bite, supplied courtesy of www.footycentral.tk -
We here at NRL News beleive that Morrin should be suspended for six weeks for this disgraceful act, but what do you beleive is a fair sentence?
