MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL A SUCCESS

The NRL's Bundy Monday Night Football has been declared a success, with television audiences and average crowd attendances producing record high TV ratings for the NRL.

With the NRL crowd attendance record pushing through the one million barrier in last night's rain soaked Titans vs Cowboys match, figures produced by the NRL indicate a 5% increase on average.

"The success of Bundy Monday Night Football reflects our increase in
crowd numbers and ratings across the board," NRL Chief Executive, Mr
David Gallop, said.

"Our clubs and players have done a tremendous job this season and the
great news is there's still plenty more excitement to come with State of
Origin around the corner and a great battle ahead amongst all our clubs
to be involved in the finals series."
