Parramatta Eels Round 3 Analysis
March 29th 2007 11:21
In what has been a disapointing start to the 2007 season for the Parramatta team, the Eels have the chance of getting their campaign back on track at home this Friday night against an equally desperate Wests Tigers outfit.
Returning for the home side is the inspirational Nathan Hindmarsh and bullocking winger Eric Grothe, and the addition of these two NSW representatives should boost the Eels chances.
The Eels ball control of late has been nothing short of woeful, which has put more pressure on the new halves pairing of Tim Smith and Brett Finch. There is no doubting that the Eels have the talent in the backline particularly to challenge for a top four spot, but the halves need to sort themselves out before they can spread the ball out to the talented outside backs.
Will a packed Parramatta Stadium on a Friday night be enough to change the Eels fortunes?
