Who will be season 2007 most valuable NRL player?
November 29th 2006 05:03
Co-inciding with today's release of Rugby League Week's Summer Special, we here at NRL News would like to here your thoughts on who will be the 'gun' player for season 2007.
Adorning the cover of the RLW Summer Special are Manly's high profile signing, Jamie Lyon, Titans co-captain Scott Prince, Souths enforcer Roy Asotasi, unlucky Tiger Benji Marshall and Roosters custodian, Anthony Minichiello.
Will one of these players be the key to their sides premiership success, or willl new signings like Parramatta's Brett Finch, New Zealand Warrior's Wade McKinnon, Canberra's Michael Dobson, North Queensland Cowboys veteran Jason Smith, new Dragon's hooker Simon Woolford or rejuvenated Sharks centre Josh Hannay, that will prove to be the vital ingredient for your team's charge for premiership glory?

Lyon was nowhere near his best in the sole Tri-Nations test a couple of weeks ago, and playing outside Burns and Orford, and with young Michael Robertson most likely outside him, than as much as I hate saying it, I beleive Maly could be the team to beat next season.
McKinnon was always a solid tradesman at the Eels, and his ability to bump off a tackler, along with his brilliant support play, coul very well see him leading the try scorers lists at some stage next year.
Cheers,
